Abstract:
In order to confirm the prediction from the standard model of particle physics, the g-factor of electrons has been measured intensively with accuracy higher than ppt (10^-12). Recently, a discrepancy between an experimental result and the theoretical prediction for the g-factor has been reported. In this talk, I explore the possibility that effects of gravity from the Earth could reconcile it.
