Experience Professor Louie was the founding scientific director of the Theory Facility of the Molecular Foundry (a U.S. Department of Energy National Nanoscience Center) until 2011 and an editor of Solid State Communications, 1994-2011. He has served on numerous national/international committees, panels, and boards.
