Wave Dark Matter under the Lens

The manifestation of quantum interference between dark matter axions takes the form of waves (ψDM). An international team, comprising Prof. Hsi-Yu Schive and Prof. Tzihong Chiueh from NTU, shows that gravitational lensing leaves signatures in multiply lensed images of background galaxies in support of ψDM, which correctly predicts the level of flux anomalies remaining with the conventional cold dark matter lens models.
