Abstract:
The Mirror Twin Higgs is a solution to the small hierarchy problem that introduces a complete mirror copy of the Standard Model related by a Z2 symmetry. If the model is to be compatible with collider and cosmological constraints, this symmetry must however be broken. It is already well established that, as far as collider constraints are concerned, the breaking does not need to be explicit. However, it is still not entirely clear whether the cosmology of the model can be made viable only with spontaneous breaking. In this talk, I will present our latest attempt at constructing a cosmologically viable Mirror Twin Higgs model without explicit Z2 breaking.
