Abstract:
In the context of general two-Higgs doublet model (g2HDM), we analyze NP contributions to kaon mixing (epsilon_K), rare decays K+ → π+νν ̄, KL → π0νν ̄, and KL,S → μ+μ−. Results for direct CP-violating ratio (epsilon′/epsilon)K in K → ππ are also presented. We study the correlations among observables, and in particular, call attention to the unique complementarity of kaon mixing and rare decays K → πνν ̄ in probing the mass-spectrum of g2HDM. Importance of kaon physics in probing NP vis- ́a-vis B-physics is stressed.
