Abstract:
We discuss the relation between the HOMFLY-PT generating function for a link (or a knot) in S_3,
and the generating series for motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants for a symmetric quiver
(a.k.a. the knot-quiver correspondence), which correspond to open BPS states.
We also provide a new proof of integrality of Labastida-Mariño-Ooguri-Vafa (LMOV) invariants for knots.
