Talk title: Charming Phenomenology of Two Higgs Doublet Models

Abstract:

General two Higgs doublet models provide extra Higgs bosons, possible sources of CP violation, and tree level flavor-changing-neutral-Higgs (FCNH) interactions. The LHC data imply that all properties of the discovered 125 GeV Higgs scalar are consistent with the expectations of the standard Higgs boson. That means if Nature chooses a two Higgs doublet model for electroweak symmetry breaking, it must be in the alignment or the decoupling limit with the light Higgs scalar behaving like the standard Higgs boson.

I will present the complementary discovery potential of FCNH interactions for (a) t to c h and (b) H,A to t c at the LHC. The coupling g(tch) is proportional to cos(beta-alpha), while the coupling g(Htc) is proportional to sin(beta-alpha).In addition, I will discuss discovery channels for the charged Higgs boson.
