There is a correspondence between the protected local operators in the 3d superconformal field theory (SCFT) describing the geometry probed by a stack of M2-branes and plane partitions, two-dimensional arrays of integers. I will show that several observables in the M2-brane SCFT, including a sphere partition function and a supersymmetric index can be expressed in terms of generating functions for plane partitions. If time permits, I also discuss the asymptotic behaviors of the grand potential in the high-temperature limit and the scaling dimension in the large N limit.
