Matrix product states and 1+1 dimensional Thirring model

I present preliminary results from a study of 1+1 dimensional Thirring model using the formalism of matrix product states. In this work, we focus on probing the phase structure of the field theory. Our results show that this formalism can be used to investigate topological phase transitions in the dual scalar models.
