International Conference on Squeezed States and Uncertainty Relations (ICSSUR)
Welcome to ICSSUR 2023 !
ICSSUR covers a wide range of topics from quantum optics to quantum atom optics and quantum information:
- coherent states and squeezed states
- quantum superpositions
- entanglement and decoherence
- phase-space methods
- implementations of quantum computation and communication
- continuous variables and quantum-information processing with continuous variables
- twin photons, their sources, properties, and applications
- photon-number-resolving detectors, homodyne detection and other detection techniques
- atom and molecular optics with emphasis on non-classical behaviour
- cavity and circuit QED
- quantum memories and quantum gates
- quantum propagation
- quantum key distribution
- and related topics
Over the years the International Conference on Squeezed States and Uncertainty Relations (ICSSUR), initiated by Professor Young Suh Kim, evolved from a meeting on optical quantum measurement to one covering a much wider range of topics from quantum optics to quantum atom optics and quantum information. The locations of the previous sixteen conferences were:
1991 1st ICSSUR College Park, Maryland, USA
1992 2nd ICSSUR Moscow, Russia
1993 3rd ICSSUR Baltimore, USA
1995 4th ICSSUR Taiyuan, P.R. China
1997 5th ICSSUR Balatonfüred, Hungary
1999 6th ICSSUR Napoli, Italy
2001 7th ICSSUR Boston, USA
2003 8th ICSSUR Puebla, Mexico
2005 9th ICSSUR Besancon, France
2007 10th ICSSUR Bradford, United Kingdom
2009 11th ICSSUR Olomouc, Czech Republic
2011 12th ICSSUR Foz do Iguacu, Brazil
