By Bus
If you do not take the NCTS Shuttle, there are other transportation options to Sun-Link-Sea Forest and Nature Resort.

1. There are many bus companies running frequent bus services [See Taiwan Tourist Shuttle website [台灣好行 6883] between Taichung and Xitou. e.g. CHANG HUA BUS (彰化客運), Yuan-Lin Bus (員林客運), NANTOU BUS (南投客運).

2. The Xitou Route picks up passengers from many major transportation hubs such as train stations and high speed rail stations. [Timetable & Fares] (TimeTable download)
• To save time, you can choose to take Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus from Taichung to Xitou Route No. 6883B at HSR Taichung Station stop at 10:20am, then you will arrive at Sun-Link-Sea stop about 12:20pm.
• Tickets can be reserved 2-5 days before the departure day. Please collect your bus ticket at least 20 minutes before the departure time at the Nantou Bus counter with your accommodation certificate or online reservation.
• The Tourist Shuttle No. 6883B has a maximum capacity of 30 passengers. 10 seats are reserved for passengers boarding at Bus Taichung Gancheng Station and 20 seats are reserved for passengers boarding at  HSR Taichung station.

3. An alternative route is to take the Xitou Route No.6871. There are only 4 buses a day for no.6871 running between Xitou and Sun-link-Sea.
