Content: The Joint Symposium on Quantum Computing 2024 (JSQC 2024) is an international conference that will be held at the National Taiwan University (Taipei, Taiwan) from 22-24 August 2024, preceded with the Qiskit Hackathon Taiwan 2024 at Syntrend (Taipei, Taiwan) from 19-21 August 2024. The JSQC 2024 is co-organized by the NTU Center for Quantum Science and Engineering, the National Center for Theoretical Sciences - Physics Division, the Yonsei University Institute of Quantum Information Technology, the Keio University Quantum Computing Center, and the Czech Technical University in Prague.

The JSQC 2024 will focus on research areas in Quantum Computing and Quantum information Science (QC & QIS), including both theoretical and experimental attempts. Continuing the effort of the previous Joint Symposium held at the Yonsei University in 2023, the JSQC 2024 intend to bring together active researchers and to strengthen the interactions of knowledge in the field of QC & QIS in general.

The main objectives of the JSQC 2024 are
  1. to discuss the current trends and future directions of research on QC & QIS,
  2. to enhance exchanges of scientific knowledge and interactions of researchers working on QC & QIS
  3. to promote international collaborations and formation of regional partner alliance on QC & QIS and
  4. to provide young researchers and students with advanced research information and development on QC & QIS in general
