Transportation

Travel information
Taipei city is served by two airports, Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA). The first (TPE), is the most common for international flights and it is approximately 1.5 hours away from the National Taiwan University in Taipei (NTU); the second (TSA), is approximately 40 minutes away from NTU.

Taoyuan International Airport

From Taoyuan International Airport, take the Airport MRT line towards Taipei Main Station. At the Main Station, switch to the green line towards Xindian, and get off at Gongguan station, where NTU will be located. On the other hand, a Taxi can be taken directly from TPE to NTU, taking approximately 45 minutes.

Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA)

From Taipei Songshan Airport, there are two routes via MRT. The first option is to take the brown line towards Taipei Zoo and get off at Technology Building Station, then walk for about 15 minutes to the south until NTU is reached. The second option is to also take the brown line towards Taipei Zoo, but get off at Nanjing Fuxing Station and switch to the green line towards Xindian, and then get off at Gongguan station; the second alternative does not require walking but takes considerably longer. Also, it is possible to take a direct taxi from TSA to NTU.
