The Red and Orange lines on Google Maps represent the Kaohsiung Metro (MRT), while the Green Line indicates the Light Rail. It might be convenient to get an iPass card for easy travel.

Kaohsiung Hamasen Station to NSYSU
The closest MRT and Lightrail stop to the university is "Hamasen" station. If you taking the MRT it is more convenient to use the Exit 1. From there, it is a 10-15 minute walk straight to the NSYSU and the conference venue.

Moreover, there are Ubike stations located at Hamasen Station and at the university.

City Suites to Hamasen Station(NSYSU)
Participants can take the Lightrail for two stops to the Hamasen station. From there, it is a 10-15 minute walk straight to the NSYSU and the conference venue.

From Kaohsiung International Airport to City Suites
Participants can take the MRT Red Line and get off at Kaisyuan Station, exiting through Exit 1. From there, transfer to the Lightrail at Cianjhen Star Station and ride to Dayi Pier 2 station.

From Taoyuan Airport to Kaohsiung (City Suites)
Participants can take the Airport line (Commuter) to Taoyuan High-Speed Rail (HSR) Station. From there, take the HSR to Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung, which is the final stop. Then:
A)At Zuoying station, transfer to the red line of Kaohsiung MRT and travel to Kaisyuan Station, exiting through Exit 1. From there, transfer to the Lightrail at Cianjhen Star Station and ride to Dayi Pier 2 station. [2 transfers, primarily using MRT]
Alternatively:
B)At Zuoying station, transfer to the red line of Kaohsiung MRT and travel to Aozihdi Station, exiting through Exit 1. From there, transfer to the Lightrail at “Heart of Love River Ruyi Lake” Station and ride to Dayi Pier 2 station. [2 transfers, primarily using Lightrail]
Alternatively:
C) At Zuoying station, transfer to the red line of Kaohsiung MRT and travel to Formosa Boulevard Station. There, switch to the Orange MRT line and ride to Hamasen station, the last stop of the Orange line, exiting through Exit 2. From there, transfer to the Lightrail at Hamasen station and ride to Dayi Pier 2 station. [3 transfers, primarily using MRT]
