| Conference Name | The 2026 Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO)Physics Summer School |
| Content | Introduction: The 2026 Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO) Physics Summer School will be held at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, from August 10th (Monday) to August 11th (Tuesday), 2026. This annual summer school brings together distinguished researchers in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) physics from Taiwan and abroad to present a series of lectures and tutorials on current advances in the field. The program will cover a broad range of topics, including cold atoms and quantum many-body systems, quantum optics and photonics, precision spectroscopy, quantum sensing, two-dimensional quantum materials, and emerging artificial intelligence. Through these lectures, participants will gain insight into both fundamental research and modern techniques at the forefront of AMO physics. Designed for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early-career researchers, the summer school provides a valuable opportunity to explore frontier developments in AMO physics, exchange research experiences, engage in interdisciplinary discussions, and strengthen connections within the AMO physics community. This year, the AMO Summer School will be part of a joint NCTS program: August 10-11: 2026 AMO Summer School August 12: Young Researchers Forum on Quantum Information Science August 13-14: Workshop on Quantum Science and Technology Invited Speakers: Guang-Yin Chen (NCHU) Yi-Hsin Chen (NSYSU) Lorenzo Gotta (University of Geneva) Shau-Yu Lan (NTU) Yink Loong Len (NCKU) Meng-Kai Lin (NCU) Daw-Wei Wang (NTHU) Shin-Tza Wu (CCU) Organizing committee: National Center for Theoretical Science - Physics Division National Cheng Kung University Contact: Jia-Yi Hsu (jyhsu@gapp.nthu.edu.tw/ 03-5731267) |
