About
Introduction
EPIC-Assembly and NCTS TG4.3 are two research communities dedicated to investigating the physical principles underlying biological systems. They employ similar approaches, including statistical physics, information theory, and nonlinear science, to address common questions, such as how biological functions emerge through assemblies governed by non-equilibrium and evolutionary dynamics. This joint workshop aims to promote scientific exchange, identify common challenges, and foster new collaborations between the two communities. By integrating theoretical, computational, and experimental perspectives, we seek to advance the quantitative understanding of complex biological systems across multiple scales.
