Conference Name	APCTP-NCTS-YITP Joint Program：2014 Asia-Pacific School and Workshop on Gravitation and Cosmology
Content	This is the 8th of the series of Schools/Workshops on Gravitation and Cosmology held in the Asia-Pacific region. It aims to promote understanding in frontier topics in gravitation and cosmology, to put forth new ideas, to discuss current issues and to introduce and propose challenging problems to young physicists. The school/workshop was initiated in Taiwan, and has been held and hosted with success in Korea, China and Japan. It has also evolved into a joint collaborative event of the APCTP, NCTS and YITP. As an encouragement to young researchers, it has also become a tradition for the workshop to present awards to the best student/postdoc speaker(s) judged by a panel of experts; both EPL and GSROC will provide 400 Euro and 200 Euro respectively for the best presentation from students/postdocs decided by the ICA members. Moreover, to facilitate and promote concrete collaborations in the Asia-Pacific region, a working group session on the fourth day of the meeting will be hosted by researchers who would like to help/search for collaborations among the participants in the meeting.
