Title: Quantum battery enhancements with coherently controlled evolutions
Place : R36173, 1F, Dept. of Physics, Building of Science College, NCKU
Abstract:
Quantum batteries are small thermodynamic quantum systems capable of charging, storing and providing energy. By utilizing quantum information techniques, we explore how coherently controlled evolutions of the quantum battery charging process and enhance battery performance to mitigate common flaws. We uncover the quick charging effect and charging efficiency bursts in our studies and prove their existence via demonstrations on cloud quantum platforms. Our findings are presented in [Quick charging of a quantum battery with superposed trajectories. Phys. Rev. Res. 6, 023136 (2024).], [Charging efficiency bursts in a quantum battery with cyclic indefinite causal order. arXiv:2603.22761 (submitting to Phys. Rev. A)]
