Abstract

I will introduce an on-shell framework to describe black hole emission and absorption processes, including Hawking radiation. This approach enables us to estimate the impact of Hawking radiation on physical observables in a binary system, such as mass shifts and gravitational waveforms. I will conclude with the future prospects and possible connections to stringy Hawking radiation.
