Abstract
It is now accepted that theories in higher spacetime dimensions, D > 4, have played important roles in recent years. The high energy behavior of scattering in higher dimensional field theories have drawn some attentions. Moreover, in the context of string theories, large radius compactification models hold prospect of being tested in accelerators. I shall employ LSZ formulation to study high energy scatterings in field theories for D > 4. In particular, I shall prove existence of generalized Froissart bound for total cross sections at asymptotic energies in LSZ framework. There is a question: if Froissart bound is violated at LHC what are the consequences?
