[NCTS Seminar - Particle Physics Journal Club] Some Ideas for Quantum Sensors in Neutrino & Dark Matter Physics
Speaker: Prof. Martin Spinrath (NTHU)
Talk title: Some Ideas for Quantum Sensors in Neutrino & Dark Matter Physics
Time: 2026/09/21 (Mon.) 12:30
Place: NCTS Physics 4F Lecture Hall, Cosmology Hall, NTU
Abstract:
In my talk, I want to discuss some ideas on how one could use quantum sensors for neutrino physics and Dark Matter searches. I will spend some time on a motivation why neutrinos and Dark Matter are interesting. Then I will discuss first how to use SQUIDs or similar devices to constrain neutrino charges and finally I will discuss detection prospects to use laser and matter interferometers to look for the Cosmic Neutrino Background and Dark Matter.
