NCTS Taiwan

Quantum field theory, gravity, and string/M-theory continue to play a central role in modern theoretical physics, offering profound insights into the fundamental principles governing nature. Rapid developments in recent years have led to important new perspectives on quantum gravity, holography, black holes, spacetime structure, strongly coupled systems, and the mathematical foundations of high-energy theory.

This NCTS workshop is intended to provide a forum for active researchers to share ideas, report on recent progress, and explore future directions in quantum field theory, gravity, string theory, and related topics. Bringing together participants from Taiwan and broader international community, the meeting is designed to foster scientific exchange, strengthen collaborations, and advance research at the forefront of fundamental physics.

The workshop will take place at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and is cohosted by the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS).
